Sarnia-Lambton LIP Implementation Plan
The Sarnia-Lambton LIP Settlement Strategy is the first step in a long-term plan to support immigrant and newcomer settlement and integration in this community. The implementation of these 12 strategies is now at the forefront of the LIP initiative. These implementation activities are ongoing and are facilitated and overseen by the LIP Council. They are being carried out by ad hoc working groups consisting of LIP Council members and community partners. The working groups are responsible for:
- Defining responsibilities and objectives of the group for the assigned strategy
- Creating a work plan that outlines how the strategy will be implemented
- Carrying out the activities necessary for implementing the strategy
